Strictly Come Dancing professional Oti Mabuse has left me and the rest of the world scratching our heads after sharing a picture of her latest hairstyle.
Oti, 30, uploaded a snap to the ‘gram of her new mane - and described it as exactly that!
She told her followers: “2020 let’s go for a lions mane - more is more ❤️.”
More is definitely more when it comes to this hairdo. It is INCREDIBLE.
Oti’s hair has been given a balayage once-over before being styled into super-tight corkscrew curls.
‘But is it all her real hair?’ I hear you cry. Well, you’re by no means the first to ask it.
Oti’s showbiz pal Gethin Jones, who appeared on the 2007 series of Strictly Come Dancing (good grief, a whole 13 years ago…), was among those questioning her sensational locks.

He asked: “This is unreal. Or is it real.”
Keeping coy, Oti teasingly replied: “Is it though? Can’t wait to see you soon x.”
Getting on board with the rouse, and throwing a social distancing gag in for good measure, Gethin then told the dancing babe: “The plot, like the hair, thickens! Hey see [you] from 2ms, which won’t be a problem with that barnet!”
I literally adore Oti’s hair like this and, as many of her followers have said, it really has an 80s Whitney Houston vibe about it.
One quite rightly told her: “So beautiful. Channeling your inner 1980s Whitney.”
Another added: This was the do I aspired to in the late 80s. It’s beautiful.”
Although Oti had tried to keep the truth behind her fab-u-lous hair a secret, she gave the game away by thanking her hair stylist, Moira from Moria Hair.
Moria specialises in hair extensions, braiding and weaves and shared a video of professional Latin American dancer Oti sat in the chair as she got to work.
She also revealed that Oti’s new ‘do will in fact be her hairstyle for the launch of Strictly Come Dancing 2020, which kicks off on Saturday 17 October.
Some changes have had to be made to the format of the telly show, due to the coronavirus pandemic, but I'm so ready for it to start.
There isn’t a huge amount of joy in the world right now, so I for one will be embracing all the amazing costumes and make-up every weekend.
But it is the hair that I look forward to the most. Expect wigs, extensions, up ‘dos, down ‘dos and everything in between. Bring. It. On.
