Nicki Minaj - aka Queen Of Wigs - has confirmed she has given birth to a baby son.
I had actually been religiously checking Nicki's Instagram over the past few weeks to stalk her hairstyles, so wondered where on earth she had disappeared off to.
Turns out she was busy having a baby. I’ll let her off.

Nicki and her husband, rapper Kenneth Petty, reportedly welcomed their baby on September 30, 2020, but decided to enjoy their first few weeks of parenthood together in peace.
Her mum Carol then shared the good news with fans, tweeting: “Thank you Lord for Blessing my daughter @nickiminaj with a beautiful bundle of joy!”
Nicki has since confirmed herself that she has become a mum, telling fans about her "liddo boy".
And in true LA style, she shared the news while thanking her showbiz squad for their messages of congratulations and lavish gifts.
Posting a picture of a card, signed by Beyoncé herself, Nicki wrote on Instagram: “Thank you to Queen B, Kim & Ye, Riccardo Tisci, Winnie, Karol & everyone who sent well wishes during this time.
“It meant the world to me. I am so grateful & in love with my son. Madly in love. My favourite liddo boy in the whole wide world.”
In a second post, she name checked the Kardashian Wests again, as they had gifted her son several pairs of tiny Yeezys.
Alongside a video of the kicks, she added:” What a lucky little infant Thank you Team Yeezy/Adidas‼️‼️‼️🙏🎈♥️🎀 Thank you Dolce & Gabbana‼️‼️‼️🎁🎀 so thoughtful of you guys.”
Nicki’s baby news suddenly took me straight back to the moment she confirmed she was pregnant.
It was definitely up there with Beyoncé’s twins announcement.
In case you have forgotten, Queen B draped a green veil over her head before plonking herself and her bump in front of a giant flower wall, then sharing the snap with the world.
Nicki also posed for several baby bump pictures, but she chose to wear a giant mop of yellow curls on top of her head.
The wig was so incredible, in fact, that I actually looked at it before the giant bare tummy she was cradling. Nicki simply captioned her post, which momentarily broke the internet: “#Preggers 💛.”
Looking back, Nicki - who is a mega fan of pink hair - clearly chose a yellow wig so as not to give away any clues as to the sex of her baby. Clever, Nicki, clever.
