With life getting ever so slightly back to ‘normal’ (or should I say, the new normal), businesses and leisure facilities are opening up again.
But if your local gym is among those flinging its doors wide open, you might be wondering how to keep things in place when you get your sweat on.
It’s a very valid question and one that gets asked a lot online.

The main fear is that the moisture from your work-out glow will just see your wig slip straight off your head.
‘So how can you stop this from happening?’ I hear you cry. Glue. It is ALL about the glue.
If you stick a lace front wig down with a decent glue, it should stay in place while you workout. The only trouble is, how do you know which brand of the sticky stuff to use?
I’ve done some digging and found that, just because a glue claims to be waterproof, this isn’t aways the case.
Thankfully, there are some highly rated products out there, which should withstand a hot yoga session or HIIT workout. Phew.
Bold Hold Extreme Cream, £24.99, can be used with lace front wigs and does exactly what it says on the tin. It holds that gal in place! The key to this one, however, is to apply up to five layers and leave it for 24 hours before slipping in to your Lycra if you plan to get REALLY sweaty.
Kendall Dorsey, who has worked with Cardi B, describes this glue as “magical”, adding: “It's made for the person who's active, sweaty and needs a strong application-this adhesive is strong, yet when you apply your wig, it's gentle.”
Another glue that gets a big thumbs up from the experts is Ghost Bond XL With Extra Moisture Control, £16.25. This adhesive is designed for people with an active lifestyle, so puts up a pretty decent fight against sweat and skin oils.
A decent glue doesn’t have to be pricey either.
Walker Tape’s Ultra Hold is just £4.99 on Amazon and can hold your lace wig in place for up to six weeks - sweat and all! It is quite tricky to apply but once you’ve got the hang of it, you'll be all set.
One fan wrote online: “You need to be calm and have a steady hand to work with this glue. I have used this, it has a great hold and will secure your lace in place for days and weeks. Do not fall for expensive glues. This one is very good.”
So there you have it. It’s time to get your Peloton on!
